Green is usually open for bowling from late March to mid-October!
This is the section that tells you what's happening on and around the green with regard to future, current and past works.
Note! Whilst works are described below, the main notices with regard to workdays, etc, will be posted on the Club's Main Notice Board in the entrance hall! Keep your eyes open!
What's all this about?
See the 'Flooding!' Tab to your left!
- Details of any forthcoming work days as the green and its surrounds come out of winter 'hibernation'!
- Details of any improvements to the pavillion where 'volunteer' assistance would be greatly appreciated!
- Notice of the day that members are able to start using the green for practice! See a separate notice re: the traditional 'formal' opening of the green on Good Friday!
- Notice of any enforced green closures due to unexpected circumstances!
- Explanation and plans for any major works!
- Explanatory information on any past major works - see the 'Flooding!' Tab to your left re: the interesting measures to overcome the regular water-logging problem that the club started to experience a couple of years ago!
